With Cup qualification on the line, Fylde FC Old Boys and FC Prelada faced off in a high-stakes Group A clash. Just one point separated the two sides going into the match, with Fylde needing a win in their final group game to leapfrog their Portuguese opponents and give them a chance of a top-two finish. FC Prelada, meanwhile, had the luxury of another fixture to follow but knew that three points here would give them a huge step toward the Cup.

The first half was a tight, tense affair with little to separate the teams, as both defences stood firm to reach the break at 0-0. After the restart, FC Prelada began to assert their authority. Gil Gomes, their tournament talisman, broke the deadlock before Carlos Oliveira added a decisive second to secure a 2-0 victory. The result propelled FC Prelada into second place and left Fylde FC Old Boys settling for Plate football in the knockout rounds.

The next game in Group A was a huge one, possibly the biggest game of Group A to date – particularly for Mitre FC A. They were scheduled to play Galacticos. Galacticos had won 4 games out of 4 so far and would be top of Group A regardless of the result here. However, a win in this game would guarantee them Cup qualification and the Group A win.

The stakes were much higher for Mitre FC A. At the start of the round they were level in second with FC Prelada and had just seen FC Prelada pick-p 3 points. They needed a win of their own to maintain second position in the table. Anything less than that and they would be relying on results elsewhere to reach the Cup. Mitre FC A came into the game on the back of two big wins (4-0, 4-1) but Galacticos would provide a sterner test.

The first half saw Huzaifa Hafesji once again in the scoresheet, striking before the break to give Galacticos a 1-0 lead. Mitre FC A battled hard and were very much in the contest, but they found chances limited against Galacticos' well-drilled backline. In the second half, as Mitre pressed for an equaliser, Galacticos capitalised on the space that opened up. Faisal Pirbhai added a second, effectively sealing the result. Galacticos saw out the remainder of the match with maturity, recording a fifth straight win and tightening their grip on top spot.

For Mitre FC A, it was a setback at a critical time, delivering a blow to their Cup ambitions. The defeat also provided a significant boost to FC Prelada, who now held the upper hand in the race for the second Cup qualification place.

In what turned out to be a tense and crucial encounter near the foot of the Group A table, Berkshirelona FC and Deportivo Dooradoyle met with both teams desperate to avoid a bottom-place finish and ensure qualification for the Plate competition. The match, though involving sides in 6th and 7th, didn't reflect the quality both had shown at times throughout the group stage. Berkshirelona had started their campaign with a convincing win, while Dooradoyle had lost just once – but frustratingly drawn three of their four games.

The first half saw both teams approach with caution, fully aware of the stakes. Chances came at a premium as the teams largely cancelled each other out, and the game remained goalless at the break. The question on many lips was whether Dooradoyle would add yet another draw to their growing list. But the Irish side found the breakthrough they craved in the second half when Kevin Shine – already on the scoresheet earlier in the day – struck again with a decisive finish. It proved to be the only goal of the match and a vital one, lifting Dooradoyle all the way up to 4th in the standings.

For Berkshirelona FC, the loss was a bitter blow. After such a promising start to their campaign, they now found themselves rooted to 7th, facing the degrowing disappointment of early elimination although they still had one game to left to make sure that didn't happen.
