Galacticos made it three wins from three in Group A with a narrow but impressive 1-0 victory over Berkshirelona FC – a result that put them in command of Group A with a 6-point lead at the top and kept their perfect record intact.

The game was a closely contested affair throughout. Berkshirelona FC, coming off the back of a 1-0 win over Fylde FC Old Boys, looked well-organised and disciplined at the back. They matched Galacticos stride for stride in the opening period, with little to separate the two sides at half-time as the game remained goalless.

In the second half, the breakthrough came via Huzaifa Hafesji, who showed great composure to net the decisive goal. It was another vital strike from Galacticos, who have made a habit of grinding out results with clinical efficiency. Despite Berkshirelona's efforts to draw level, Galacticos held firm, with solid defending and smart game management in the closing stages.

The win maintains Galacticos' momentum and cements their growing status as one of the tournament's front-runners, while Berkshirelona can still take heart from a competitive performance against one of the group's strongest sides.

FC Prelada continued their strong group stage campaign with a composed 2-0 win over Mitre FC A, thanks to a brace from Gil Gomes. The Portuguese side showed quality in key moments to secure their second win in three games and rise to second place in the standings.

Mitre FC A, playing just their second fixture after a hard-fought 0-0 draw with Deportivo Dooradoyle, were looking to build some early momentum. However, they found themselves trailing at the break as Gil Gomes struck the opener, calmly finishing to give Prelada the edge in an otherwise balanced first half.

As Mitre FC A pushed forward in search of an equaliser, spaces began to open up, and Prelada capitalised. Gil Gomes added a second to double the advantage and seal the result. His goals ensured FC Prelada remained firmly in the hunt at the top of Group A. For Mitre FC A, it's been a tough start against well-organised opposition, but with four games still to come, there's plenty of opportunity to regroup and push for a knockout place.

With the top two beginning to stretch ahead in Group A, this fixture between Fylde FC Old Boys and Flying High carried major significance in the race for the knockout phase—and it was Fylde who rose to the occasion with a commanding 3-0 victory.

Fylde came into the match off the back of two narrow defeats but looked determined to turn their fortunes around. They edged the first half and were rewarded when Nathaniel Smithies continued his fine form, netting his third goal of the tournament to give his side a 1-0 lead at the break.

The second half saw Fylde tighten their grip. Smithies struck again to make it 2-0, taking his tally to four goals for the day and making him one of the leading contenders for the Golden Boot. Michael Fee then capped off a resurgant display with a well-taken third to put the result beyond doubt.

The win saw Fylde FC Old Boys climb from 7th to 4th in a tightly packed table. For Flying High, who are still searching for their first win, it's a setback, but with games still to come, all is still to play for in this finely poised group.
