The eurofootballfives.com late summer Veterans Tournament returned to Barcelona for the 2025 season after a successful visit to Porto in 2024. JK Silvertown were making a habit of victories on the road as they won the Plate in Barcelona 2023, the Cup in Porto 2024 and added another Cup trophy to their haul with success here in Barcelona.

They were sublime on the day and worthy winners as they went through the tournament unbeaten (7 wins, 1 draw) culminating in a 4-2 Cup Final win. In the Cup Final, they defeated Celtic Eagles who had a pretty decent day themselves as they were unbeaten until running into JK Silvertown. They showed they had enough quality to win on the eurofootballfives.com stage at some point in the future.

In the Plate competition it was Skidmarks who dominated. The team, who had won 3x titles in our Open Age tournaments over the years, competed in the Veterans section for the first time. They had two teams - both finished third in their respective groups and both reached the Plate Final. When the Plate Final concluded it was Skidmarks 4Gs who defeate their OGs counterparts to take victory.

For the individual honours, Chris Wright won the top scorer prize with 12 goals. It was his third golden boot after winning the same prize at the 2018 Amsterdam Fives & 2023 Barcelona Fives..
