eurofootballfives.com added the Super Veterans tournament to our calendar in 2024 when the event debuted in Porto. On that occasion Polonia Limerick claimed the inaugural title. 12 months later the tournament moved to Barcelona for the 2nd edition. We had 12 teams sign up ready to do battle.

At the end of the day's proceedings it was Polonia Limerick who once again emerged victorious. They were made to work hard for it with a slender 1-0 win over JK Silvertown in the Cup Final. It was a sensational result for Polonia Limerick who now remain unbeaten for 2 seasons. For the individual honours, Lech Madajek of Polonia Limerick won the top scorer prize with 8 as his goals powered his team to victory.

In the Plate competition it was Bristol Wanderers who emerged victorious as they defeated Team PL Blue Boys 1-0 in the final. It was a great end to the day for the English team on debut who won 3 close games in a row to claim the Plate title.

Well done to everyone for an amazing day of competition and thank you to all teams who participated and played the tournament in such a great spirit and atmosphere. Special reference to Old Vipers who made the journey from Phoenix Arizona to join us. We hope to see you all again soon.
