Red Light Runners became the first team from Scotland to lift a eurofootballfives.com title. The Red Light Runners defeated defending champions, Northern Monkeys, in the Quarter-Finals on their march to glory. This was a particularly great achievement in arguably the strongest eurofootballfives line up so far.

In the Plate competition, eurofootballfives regulars the Cobalt Silver Foxes and Shock Soc battled it out to win their first silverware.  For the 2008 Krakow Trophy Results & Report click here

The Dutch have always had a special place in world football being the architects of 'Total Football'. The famous orange-clad dutchmen of the 1970's set the world alight with their innovative and entertaining brand of football. In fact, the 1970s Holland team is arguably the greatest side never to have lifted the World Cup. No-one epitomises this more than Johan Cruyff, innovator of the eponymous Cruyff Turn.

So you know the Dutch pedigree for football - do you know what the Dutch capital Amsterdam has to offer in terms of entertainment? Of course you do! You do not need us to tell you that Amsterdam is one of the most liberal cities in the world and with plenty of drinking establishments to choose from and a liberal outlook, backed up by liberal sex and drug laws, comes a great relaxed atmosphere to enjoy your post-football drinks and the variety of 'nightlife' on offer.  more

Prague, as you no doubt will have heard, is one of the most beautiful cities not only in Europe but in the world. As a destination Prague is still relatively cheap and means your money goes a long long way. No matter whether you are going to Prague for the football, the culture, the history, the sightseeing, the party, the beers or any other reason you will be guaranteed to love Prague, we promise!

Prague's bar and club scene is as appropriately raucaus as its infamy suggests. Prices and clientele veer widely from the tourist-filled Old Town haunts to the sometimes slightly seedy neighbourhood bars. You will find that beer is drunk morning, noon and night, and that Czech beers are among the best and cheapest in the world. Brands to look out for include Pilsner Urquell, Gambrinus, Staropramen and Budweiser (Budvar). You will not go thirsty! But then again, you will not go sober!

The Albufeira Fives enters it's second year after a triumphant debut in 2007. In 2007 the silverware of both the Cup and Plate competition went to Portuguese teams despite valiant efforts from travelling overseas teams. Do you have what it takes to go to Portugal in 2008 and come back with the Albufeira Fives trophy?

The Albufeira Fives is a ladies only tournament.. We have chosen Albufeira in The Algarve to host the event. The Algarve is synonymous with great weather, sun-drenched beaches, glorious golf courses and a lively and vibrant nightlife. Albufeira is arguably the place to be in the Algarve for nightlife and is a great venue to go out on the town after the tournament and fraternize with your opposition (either the opponents in your tournament or those of the opposite sex!) more

The Krakow Trophy will enter its third year in 2009. This very successful tournament has established itself as the traditional curtain-raiser of the eurofootballfives.com season. In April 2007 the Northern Monkeys became the first ever winners of a eurofootballfives.com tournament. In 2008 they were unable to defend their crown as Red Light Runners of Scotland defeated the Northern Monkeys on their way to the title. Polish pride is hurt as two strong challenges have left them without a trophy and they will be determined in 2009 to set the record straight.
