The
2025 Barcelona Fives proved yet again why it’s
one of the flagship events in the eurofootballfives.com
calendar. The Cup competition was won by Easter
Island FC, who capped off a sensational campaign
with a 1-0 victory in the final over Sharks,
the most defensively solid side in the tournament.
It was a meeting of the top two teams statistically
— Easter Island FC the leading scorers and Sharks
boasting the fewest goals conceded. The match
itself was a tense and tactical affair, decided
by a single strike from Ben Farrar, sealing
a memorable triumph for the English side. There
was also individual glory for Tom Farrar, who
claimed the top scorer award with eight goals
— a fitting reward for his clinical finishing
and consistent performances across the day.
In the Plate competition, RSC Andylecht lifted
the silverware after a remarkable and resilient
campaign. Despite playing the entire tournament
with the minimum five players, they showed exceptional
team spirit and tactical awareness to navigate
through tight knockout games and secure a 1-0
win over Argon’ze B in the final — with Chris
Bishop once again providing the decisive goal,
just as he had done when the two sides met in
the group phase. For Argon’ze B, it was a bittersweet
end to a fine run. The French team have now
appeared in three eurofootballfives.com finals
but are still chasing that elusive title after
previous near misses in Budapest (2019)** and
Amsterdam (2024). Their consistency and determination,
however, continue to make them one of the most
admired sides on the circuit.
A huge thank you to all the teams who joined
us for this year’s tournament and contributed
to such a fantastic day of football in the Catalan
sunshine. From thrilling group battles to nail-biting
knockout clashes, the 2025 Barcelona Fives delivered
everything we love about 5-a-side football —
skill, competition, and camaraderie in abundance.
We hope everyone enjoyed the experience and
we look forward to welcoming you all back to
the eurofootballfives.com stage next season
for more great football, friendships, and memories.
