Young Stars defeat last year's champions to claim the 2025 title!

It was great to be back in Amsterdam for the seventh edition of the Amsterdam Sixes. It was another sold out full tournament as the Amsterdam Sixes goes from strength to strength. After 36 games of action, Young Stars emerged victorious to hold the cherished trophy aloft.

FC NoeNoe came close and finished second as they were denied back-to-back titles but it was close. The Cup Final finished 2-2 after normal time and was 2-2 after the regulation penalties. We went to sudden death and Young Stars triumphed 5-4. It was the 3rd time the Amsterdam Sixes had been decided by penalties.

In the Plate competition there was success for Humble Goats as they defeated 2023 Cup winners Shaheens United (Ned) 3-1 in the Plate Final. It was a high standard Plate competition between two sides who had three Cup titles between them.

The personal honours were claimed by Madalin Stoleriu of Young Stars who scored 12 goals on the day.

What a great atmosphere we had at the tournament on what was a wonderful sporting weekend.
