TNT
Kent and WPL FC returned to action for their
second fixtures of the day, each looking for
their first points at the 2025 Amsterdam Sixes.
TNT Kent had opened with a tough 3-0 defeat
to Young Stars, while WPL FC had suffered a
heavy 6-0 loss at the hands of Humble Goats
— both teams were eager to kickstart their campaigns.
It
was TNT Kent who seized the early initiative,
going into half-time with a slender 1-0 lead.
In the second half, they really found their
rhythm, adding three more goals to assert their
dominance and secure a convincing 4-1 victory.
The Hungarian side's goals came from Mihaly
Racz, Tamas Darago (2), and Tamas Mrav. For
WPL FC, Connor Cother found the net with a consolation
strike — their first goal of the tournament.
The
result saw TNT Kent climb into 3rd place in
Group A, breathing new life into their campaign
and keeping their Plate qualification hopes
well on track. For WPL FC, back-to-back defeats
left them bottom of the group in 6th, with work
to do in their remaining fixtures.
