Group B kicked off with an all-English clash as two debutant sides – Chamakh Your Pitch Up and Salter's Assaulters – took to the field for their first ever eurofootballfives.com fixture. With a blank canvas, it was a chance for both teams to lay down an early marker in what looked to be a competitive group. As the game got underway, both teams showed strong energy, but it was Salter's Assaulters who looked the more composed in the opening exchanges.

Their early composure was rewarded when Joe Hanley struck the opening goal of the game, giving Salter's Assaulters a 1-0 lead heading into the break. It was a well-taken finish and a confidence boost for his team as they began their campaign in solid fashion. Chamakh Your Pitch Up had their moments going forward but were just lacking that killer final pass or finish to really trouble their opponents in the first half.

The second half saw more pressure from Chamakh Your Pitch Up as they looked to restore parity, but Salter's Assaulters continued to defend well and proved a tough unit to break down. Then, Nathan Salter got in on the act with a vital second goal to double the advantage. That goal gave Salter's Assaulters valuable breathing room and effectively took the wind out of Chamakh's push for a comeback.

At the final whistle, it was a 2-0 win for Salter's Assaulters who couldn't have asked for a better start to their debut campaign. A clean sheet, two goals, and three points put them in a strong early position in the group. For Chamakh Your Pitch Up, there were positives to take from the game despite the defeat, particularly in how they competed for long stretches – but they would need to find that cutting edge in their next fixture.

Next up was FC Dosko versus FC NoeNoe.

FC NoeNoe (Ned) made quite a debut last year at the 2024 Amsterdam Sixes when then swept to a superb victory. It looked good from the opening moments when they defeated Empty Glasses FC 3-0 before a 3-3 draw versus Elderly Support and a 1-1 draw versus Shaheen's United. Cup qualification was in the balance at this stage but a 4-0 win over FC23 improved their chances and a 3-1 win over FC Twente Bag helped them claim the Group B title via goal difference. In the knockout phase, Maai proved no match for them as FC NoeNoe powered through to the final, 4-0. A pulsating final against Humble Goats was a 6-goal thriller with FC NoeNoe emerging victorious 4-2. They are back to defend their title.

It would be a tough start for them as they had to begin the game with just five players due to some squad delays. This didn't seem to phase them at all as it was normal service resumed from 12 months ago. Despite the numerical disadvantage they headed into half-time 2-0 up. Aryan Janaghol scored their first of the day before Ehssan Aziz doubled the advantage.

This was quite a performance from FC NoeNoe as their opponents, FC Dosko, were clearly no mugs and looked a good side. FC Dosko must have wondered what was happening but they were back in the game after the break with Irinel Cotruta on target to reduce arrears to 2-1. They couldn't force an equalizer though as FC NoeNoe completed a fine victory.

Game 3 of Group B brought together two more debutant teams in an all-English clash as Tulip Sniffers FC faced Blue Balls FC. With both sides eager to make a strong start in their first eurofootballfives.com campaign, there was a good energy to the opening exchanges. It was Tulip Sniffers FC who drew first blood when captain Gus Hill found the net to give his side an early lead and a platform to build on.

Blue Balls FC, however, were not behind for long. They responded well to going a goal down and gradually worked their way back into the game. Their persistence paid off when Lucas Benge slotted home the equaliser to level things up at 1-1 going into the break. It was all square at half-time, with both teams looking capable of taking all three points.

The second half continued in a competitive vein, but it was Blue Balls FC who edged in front thanks to the clinical finishing of Lucas Benge. His second goal of the game turned out to be the winner, securing a valuable three points for Blue Balls FC. Tulip Sniffers FC pushed for an equaliser but couldn't find a way through as the Blue Balls defence stood firm under pressure.

With this result, Blue Balls FC got their tournament off to a perfect start and announced themselves as a team to watch in Group B. For Tulip Sniffers FC, there were encouraging signs in their performance, but they will be looking to tighten up defensively and convert possession into points as the group stage unfolds.
