The final round of games in Group A began with a clash between World Pinteur and Southgate County. It was a tense, winner-takes-all encounter with stakes high for both sides. World Pinteur, sitting third, needed only to avoid defeat to secure a place in the Plate. Southgate County, down in sixth, had to win and hope for a favourable result in the other game to climb into fourth on goal difference. From the first whistle, it was clear that both teams were acutely aware of the fine margins at play, with possession and the upper hand fiercely contested.

Southgate County struck the decisive blow when Luke Kelly found the net, giving the English side a 1-0 lead. The goal sent a wave of energy through the team, while World Pinteur pushed forward in search of an equaliser. Despite creating a handful of chances, the French side could not break down a determined Southgate defence, and the tension mounted as the final minutes ticked away. When the final whistle blew, Southgate County had done enough on the pitch to claim a 1-0 victory, but the result left questions hanging in the air. While they had achieved the win, their fate would still depend on the outcome of New Ham United v Postbusters FC, illustrating just how fine the margins were in the battle for the Plate places.

The penultimate Group A match between New Ham United and Postbusters FC carried plenty of tension, with both teams knowing that only a win would see them climb into third place and eliminate Southgate County from Plate contention. A draw would see Southgate County through at the expense of these two teams. For Postbusters, it had been a competitive tournament so far, with two draws and two narrow one-goal defeats proving their quality. New Ham United, on the other hand, came into the game on the back of two defeats but were determined to finish the group on a high note.

From the outset, New Ham United asserted their authority on the game. Mihai Harizomenov broke the deadlock to put his side 1-0 up, and shortly after, Stefan Manole doubled the lead, giving New Ham United firm control. Karim El Sayed added a third before halftime, making it 3-0 and giving his team a commanding advantage.

In the second half, New Ham United continued their dominance with Gavin Hamilton scoring the fourth goal, putting the result beyond doubt. Postbusters FC managed to grab a consolation through Tim Raben, but it was too little, too late. The match finished 4-1, a decisive win for New Ham United that secured third place in the group and ended Postbusters' hopes of Plate qualification, while sending them home after a valiant tournament.

The final Group A showdown between Colonel Getafe and CF Dons was a thrilling encounter with plenty at stake. The winner would claim the top spot in the group, securing not just bragging rights but also a potentially easier path in the Cup semi-finals. A draw, however, would still see Colonel Getafe finish first due to their superior goal difference, adding an extra layer of tension to this high-stakes match.

CF Dons started the brighter of the two sides, taking the lead through Tom Roadnight, who then doubled the advantage shortly afterwards. Roadnight's 4th goal of the tournament showcased his excellent finishing and composure under pressure. Colonel Getafe fought back valiantly, with Henry Hanifan pulling one back and Andrew Simpson levelling the scores at 2-2, keeping the game wide open and the tension high.

In the closing stages, CF Dons regained control. Jonathan Brett restored their lead to 3-2, and Theo Davis added a sixth goal of the match, sealing a decisive 4-2 victory. With this win, CF Dons maintained their 100% record and topped Group A, a fitting reward for their consistent performances throughout the group stage.
