CleanUpCrew
took to Pitch 1 for the first time in the tournament,
riding high after their 5-3 win over RJW United
in Round 3. Their opponents, De Daggoes, were
still chasing their first victory of the day despite
showing plenty of attacking promise. With nine
goals already in the tournament, De Daggoes were
the second highest scorers in Group B, but their
defensive issues continued to hold them back.
Having conceded 15 goals — the most in the group
— it was clear that their small squad size was
beginning to take a toll as the day wore on.
The
first half was a closely fought affair with both
sides showing attacking intent. De Daggoes once
again found the net through their star forward
Jayden Almeida, who bagged his seventh goal of
the tournament, continuing his excellent form.
CleanUpCrew, however, edged in front at the break
thanks to goals from Kerese Brazil and Juan Pablo.
It was a tight 2-1 lead, but the game still felt
very much in the balance heading into the second
half.
After
the interval, though, it was all CleanUpCrew.
The team stepped up a gear and their fresher legs
began to show. Rajaan Prince, who had already
been influential in earlier matches, scored twice
in quick succession to stretch the lead to 4-1.
Juan Pablo added his second of the game to make
it five before Josue Jerome and Khajeel Bailey
completed the rout. The second half was a show
of dominance as CleanUpCrew capitalised on their
opponent's fatigue.
The
7-1 final score was the biggest winning margin
of Group B so far and a real statement of intent
from CleanUpCrew. With their second win on the
bounce, they were starting to look like strong
contenders for at least a Plate qualification
spot. For De Daggoes, it was another tough result
in a day where their attacking spark couldn't
quite make up for defensive vulnerabilities. Their
effort couldn't be faulted — but the lack of depth
ultimately proved costly.

This
top-of-the-table clash on Pitch 2 brought together
two unbeaten sides — Totoriino and Wentworth
Arms — both locked on 7 points and separated
only by goal difference. With Cup qualification
on the line, it was a match that promised intensity,
quality, and high stakes. Totoriino, who had
been held to a goalless draw in their previous
game by Tilbury Douglas, were looking to reassert
their authority at the summit of Group B.
It
was clear from the opening minutes that Totoriino
had come to make a statement. They settled quickly
and dictated the tempo, pressing high and forcing
mistakes. Captain Matteo Picco, who had already
been instrumental in previous rounds, struck
the opening blow to put the Italians 1-0 up.
Riccardo Severi then doubled the lead with a
composed finish, giving Totoriino a well-earned
2-0 cushion at the break. After half-time, Wentworth
Arms looked for a way back into the match, but
they were met by a Totoriino side in complete
control. Eduardo Pedrazzoli made it 3-0 with
a sharp finish before Matteo Picco added his
second of the game to cap off a superb team
performance. At 4-0, the Italians had not only
secured the win but also made a statement to
the rest of Group B.
With
this emphatic result, Totoriino moved back into
sole possession of first place, firmly in command
of their own Cup qualification destiny. Wentworth
Arms, who had been excellent up to this point,
were handed their first defeat and would now
need to regroup quickly ahead of their final
fixture. Tilbury Douglas, watching closely,
would have welcomed this result — as it left
the door open for them to push for one of the
top two spots in the final round.

Tilbury
Douglas and RJW United met on Pitch 3 in a pivotal
encounter that could reshape the battle for Cup
qualification in Group B. Tilbury Douglas had
maintained an unbeaten record through three games
and knew a victory here would pile pressure on
the two teams above them. For RJW United, inconsistent
results had left them in mid-table, but with the
top four and even top two still in reach, they
had everything to play for.
It
was RJW United who struck first, Raphael Wilson
putting them ahead as they started brightly. Ben
Ord levelled for Tilbury Douglas soon after, but
RJW's Nathan Lindo restored the lead at 2-1 before
half-time. That first half scoreline reflected
the open, attacking nature of the contest, with
both sides clearly determined to take three points
rather than settle for a draw.
After
the break, RJW United extended their advantage
through a quickfire brace from Darren Smith-Wellington,
who showed composure in front of goal to give
his side a commanding 4-1 lead. Tilbury Douglas
were down but not out. Josh Park pulled one back
to make it 4-2 and then Ben Ord struck again for
his second of the game to make it 4-3, setting
up a dramatic finish.
Despite
the late pressure, RJW United held on for a vital
win that keeps their Plate and Cup hopes alive
heading into the final round. Tilbury Douglas,
tasting defeat for the first time, were left ruing
a slow start and will now need a result in their
final game to secure qualification. With one game
to go for all teams, Group B remained finely poised.
