RJW United bounced back from an opening game defeat in style as they secured their first win of the tournament against De Daggoes in a high-tempo contest. Both sides had suffered defeat in their first outings, but it was RJW who looked sharper early on. The English side seemed to have shaken off any lingering effects of their hangover and found their rhythm from the first whistle.

The first half saw RJW United grab the initiative, with three different players getting on the scoresheet. Darren Smith-Wellington got his side up and running with the opener before further goals followed from Nathan Lindo and Myster Peasah. De Daggoes weren't going down without a fight and stayed in the game through a first-half strike by Artur Pevsariyan. It was a lively and entertaining half with RJW taking a deserved 3-1 lead into the break.

The game continued at a good pace after the break, with De Daggoes pushing to reduce the deficit. However, it was honours even in the second period as RJW United struck through Myster Peasah - his second of the game and his team's fourth, effectively restoring their cushion and giving them breathing room. De Daggoes did respond with another goal from Artur Pevsariyan, also his second of the match, but ultimately it proved to be a consolation.

The 4-2 win reignited RJW United's campaign and put their first three points on the board, while for De Daggoes it was a second narrow defeat in a row. Encouraging signs for both teams going forward, but RJW United will be the happier of the two as they look to build momentum in the group.

Wentworth Arms and Tilbury Douglas produced a highly entertaining encounter in their second group game, with the match finishing 2-2 after a gripping battle on Pitch 2. Both sides had started their Group B campaigns with narrow wins, and confidence was high heading into this clash. It was Wentworth Arms who made the brighter start, riding the wave of momentum from their opening victory.

Liam O'Connell was again the danger man, adding two more goals to his tally in the first half to put Wentworth 2-0 ahead. His movement and finishing were proving difficult to contain, and his clinical brace took his total to four goals already in the tournament. Just when it looked like Wentworth might take a commanding lead into half-time, James Thompson struck for Tilbury Douglas to halve the deficit and give his team a crucial foothold in the game.

The second half saw Tilbury Douglas gradually grow in confidence and possession. Their comeback was complete when Sonny Richardson – a prolific figure in previous editions of the tournament – found the net to make it 2-2. His goal, following a hat-trick in the opening game and six goals in last year's tournament, reaffirmed his credentials as a reliable scorer in big moments.

Despite both teams pushing for a winner in the final stages, neither could find the breakthrough. The draw meant both sides remained unbeaten and towards the top of the table, though their exact positions depended on results from the simultaneous fixture on Pitch 3. The shared points kept both firmly in contention for Cup qualification and set up an exciting second half of the group phase.

Totoriino maintained their perfect start to Group B with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over CleanUpCrew on Pitch 3. After an emphatic 4-0 win in their opener, the Italian debutants showed they could grind out results as well, overcoming a determined CleanUpCrew side who once again came up just short. Despite sitting at opposite ends of the table after this one, the match highlighted the tight margins in what's proving to be a highly competitive group.

Totoriino were quick out of the blocks and dominated the early phases of the first half. Mattias Dethmers, already on the scoresheet in their opening match, continued his clinical form with a well-taken brace. His movement off the ball and ability to find space in key areas made him a constant threat, and by the time the half-time whistle blew, he had taken his tournament tally to three and his team into a 2-0 lead.

To their credit, CleanUpCrew didn't let their heads drop. Much like in their opening game, they showed character and resilience after the break. Rajaan Prince, a bright spark in their attack, found the net for the second consecutive match to reduce the deficit and set up a tense finale. CleanUpCrew pushed hard for an equaliser but were once again edged out by the narrowest of margins.

The final whistle brought frustration for CleanUpCrew, who had now suffered back-to-back 2-1 defeats, despite performing admirably. For Totoriino, it was another three points and a statement of intent as they moved to the top of the table with a maximum six from six. CleanUpCrew's performances suggest they're more than capable of turning things around in their remaining games — they just need that elusive result to reflect their efforts.
