Statisitcally there was no question that Bet365 aside were the favourites on paper to win this Cup Final. They lead in almost all categories – goals scored, defence, goal difference, clean sheets etc. However, titles are not won on paper but on the field of play and FC Floriande had Younes El Hassani in their ranks and he posed a real threat to Bet365 aside's domination of today's tournament. The two teams had met earlier in the day with Bet365 aisde winning 3-1. A repeat would be just what the doctor ordered for the English side. Could FC Floriande change the narrative though?

The first half was a tightly contested affair with little to separate the two teams. It was Bet365 aside who struck first, as Tom Rowlands found the net to give his side an early lead. FC Floriande responded quickly though, with the ever-dangerous Younes El Hassani continuing his scoring form to level things up at 1-1. While the match provided plenty of quality and tension, it also carried the added narrative of the top goalscorer race. El Hassani's goal was his 14th of the day, extending his slender lead over Bet365 aside's Jonathon Collo (12) in the golden boot standings. As the first half closed with the scores level, it was all to play for in both the match and the personal accolades.

The second half saw Bet365 aside show their tournament experience and tactical control. Hal Senturk edged them back in front, finishing a well-worked move to make it 2-1. From there, Bet365 aside managed the game with maturity – dominating possession, controlling the tempo, and making life difficult for FC Floriande. Despite their opponents' pressure, they gave little away and were content to wait for their moment to strike again.

That moment came late on, when Senturk struck for the second time, sealing a 3-1 victory and putting the final out of reach. FC Floriande had no answer to the composed and professional performance from their English opponents. The final whistle confirmed what many had expected – Bet365 aside were crowned champions, completing an outstanding campaign with a perfect record. A special mention to Hal Senturk, whose brace in the final capped off a stellar day.

FC Floriande deserve immense credit for their efforts throughout the day. From group stages to a thrilling semi-final and a committed display in the final, they were worthy runners-up. Congratulations to Younes El Hassani who was the top scorer with 14 goals, a magnificent haul and the largest tally since 2019 (Randy Tchutio, 17). They had plenty of flair on show, they leave the tournament with reputations enhanced.

Congratulations to Bet365 aside – worthy champions of the tournament. With seven wins from seven and an impressive combination of technical quality, game management and ruthless finishing, they lived up to their billing as the team to beat. An exceptional campaign from start to finish. They were top in all the stats and in the top scorer list they had 3 players in the top 5. There can be no doubt that Bet365 fully deserved all the allocades that headed their way.

Thank you to all the teams who competed – it was a fantastic day. We hope to see you all again at another eurofootballfives.com tournament very soon.
