The first half was a tightly contested affair with little to separate the two teams. It was Bet365 aside who struck first, as Tom Rowlands found the net to give his side an early lead. FC Floriande responded quickly though, with the ever-dangerous Younes El Hassani continuing his scoring form to level things up at 1-1. While the match provided plenty of quality and tension, it also carried the added narrative of the top goalscorer race. From there, Bet365 aside managed the game with maturity – dominating possession, controlling the tempo, and making life difficult for FC Floriande. Despite their opponents' pressure, they gave little away and were content to wait for their moment to strike again.

That moment came late on, when Senturk struck for the second time, sealing a 3-1 victory and putting the final out of reach. FC Floriande had no answer to the composed and professional performance from their English opponents. The final whistle confirmed what many had expected – Bet365 aside were crowned champions, completing an outstanding campaign with a perfect record. A special mention to Hal Senturk, whose brace in the final capped off a stellar day.

FC Floriande deserve immense credit for their efforts throughout the day. From group stages to a thrilling semi-final and a committed display in the final, they were worthy runners-up. With seven wins from seven and an impressive combination of technical quality, game management and ruthless finishing, they lived up to their billing as the team to beat.
