Round 2 started with CBD Boys taking on Panteras. The latter had suffered a narrow 2-0 defeat whereas the former had enjoyed a slender 2-0 victory in their opening games. If CBD Boys could win they would make it two wins out of two. Panteras needed the three points to bounce back from first game defeat.

It was honours even at half-time with Carlos Roldan Navarro scoring Panteras' first goal of the day to cancel out Sean Cuthbertson's goal for the Omani side. The second period saw the CBD Boys open up a lead as they ran out 3-2 victors. Goals from Deepesh Mehta and Amr Ahmed won the game as they outgunned Jose Maria Domenech Sozer's goal for Panteras.

The win put CBD Boys top on 6 points with two wins – two more than they managed in Barcelona. Like Mestallaban in Group B, this was clearly a much improved team.

The opening round of games had seen Team Extreme and Los Langeros suffer defeat. They had the chance to turn their fortunes around when they met in Game 5 of Group D.

Team Extreme flew out the traps in this one as they raced to a 4-1 lead by half-time. There was two goals each for Chika Kalu and Chris Lees to put them firmly in control. Colin Hegarty scored Los Langeros' first goal of the day to break that particular duck.

In the second half Colin Hegarty struck again to make it 4-2 and was this the start of a sensational comeback? Time was not on their side though and in the end the full time whistle arrived before any further goals and Los Langeros slipped to a second consecutive defeat.

Team Extreme claimed victory and their campaign was now up and running in earnest. They would hope to kick on from here.

The final game of Round 2 saw two first game winners meet face-to-face as they sought to join CBD Boys on top of the table with a second win.

Gotti United seized the early initiative taking a 2-1 lead into half time as Christopher Probst and Andy Hanak scored for them. Larry Moore's second goal in as many games for Sporting Abeergut kept them in striking distance if they could mount a second half challenge.

The opening goal of the second period went to Dean Brown of Gotti United as they extended their lead to 3-1. Isaac Tonkin added the games' final goal to make it 4-1 and completed a fine victory. The margin of victory was also important putting them on top via goal difference.
