Game 7 of Group B was an important fixture for both Kings Old Boys and Nothigam Pressa. Kings Old Boys had pedigree in eurofootballfives tournaments and Nothigam Pressa had played well but neither team had a point today – it looked like Group B was emerging as the infamous “Group of Death” that many tournaments seem to have.

A win for either team now would put them back in contention with a couple of games to go. A defeat would be a tough pill to swallow and end the losers Cup dreams. A draw would leave both teams treading water at the foot of the table but at least a building block to kick on for the rest of the group.

Kings Old Boys struck the opening blow in this one as Paul Tucker put the English side 1-0 up. So far, Nothigam Pressa had gone in level at 1-1 in each of their games but the Kings Old Boys defence held firm and they would start the second half 1-0 up.

After the break, Paul Tucker turned 1-0 into 2-0 and they were on their way to their first victory of the day. With two games still to go and 6 further points on offer Kings Old Boys were right back in the mix for Group B.

For Nothigam Pressa it was a third successive defeat and they were now three points adrift at the foot of the table.

Mestallaban were next in action against Club Tropicana Drinks FC. Following a superb result in their last game, expectations were raised for Mestallaban in this one. It would be no easy game though as Club Tropicana Drinks FC brought a 100% record into the game and if they could avoid defeat here would go top (at least until FC Miracle's next game).

We were expecting a close game and a close game is what we got. In fact so close there was nothing to separate the teams. We reached half-time locked together at 0-0 and then full-time was reached with the scorer's pencil still untroubled. We don't get many 0-0 draws in Valencia (just 4 in 132 games before today) but that is what we had here.

The point was good enough to put Club Tropicana Drinks FC on top with 7 points and Mestallaban on their own in 3rd with 4 points.

To complete Round 3 we had FC Dad versus FC Miracle to look forward to. FC Miracle were thus far unbeaten with a maximum 6 points out of 6. A win would put the Hungarian side two points clear at the top, a draw would put them level with Club Tropicana Drinks FC but top on goal difference. A defeat for FC Miracle would see FC Dad go level with them on 6 points and make it really tight at the top.

FC Dad had already shown today they were a better team in Valencia than they were in Prague and they matched their illustrious opponents blow for blow in the opening period but were unable to prevent Laszlo Zsolt scoring his sixth goal of the day putting FC Miracle 1-0 ahead at the break.

In the second half FC Miracle showed their class and eased to victory with Zsolt going on to complete his second hat-trick of the day. Janos Molnar and Adam Biro also got their names on the scoresheet as they fashioned a 5-1 win. Calum Jones struck for FC Dad but I'm sure they'll be first to admit they were second best in the second half of this game.

FC Miracle had stormed back to the top of Group B. The result cruelly meant FC Dad had slipped to 5th place.
