The top-of-the-table clash between Easter Island FC and Argon'ze A had all the ingredients of a classic. Both sides had been in excellent form throughout the group stage, with Argon'ze A boasting a perfect record and Easter Island FC arriving fresh from the biggest win of the tournament. The French team had looked well-drilled and ruthless in front of goal, while the English side were playing with freedom and confidence. From the outset, the match had a high level of intensity — every tackle contested, every pass measured. The opening half was a tight affair, with both teams creating half-chances, but it was Easter Island FC who broke through first. Simon Kirschner struck a fine effort to put his team 1-0 up, giving them a slender yet valuable advantage going into the break.

In the second half, Argon'ze A pushed forward with urgency, seeking an equaliser that would preserve their unbeaten record before they could even think of retaining the 100% record. Easter Island FC were in no mood to let their lead slip. Their defence, which had been tested heavily at times, held firm. The French side threw bodies forward, they were unable to break through. Easter Island FC's organisation and discipline were exceptional. Their ability to close down space kept Argon'ze A at bay.

When the final whistle blew, Easter Island FC celebrated what was arguably their finest performance of the day so far — a hard-fought 1-0 victory that not only ended Argon'ze A's winning run but also saw them leapfrog their opponents to the top of the table on goal difference. For Argon'ze A, defeat was a reminder (not that they needed it) of how fine the margins can be at this level. For Easter Island FC, it was proof that they could beat the very best and were genuine contenders for the Barcelona Fives crown.

Cream of the South entered their penultimate group game looking to bounce back after their first defeat of the day — a narrow 2-0 loss to Just A Boy FC that had halted their perfect start. Up against them were Team PL Blue Boys, a side that had competed well throughout but were still chasing their first win of the tournament. The stakes were high for both sides: Cream of the South could move level on points at the top with victory, while the Polish team needed a result to keep their Plate qualification hopes alive. From kick-off, it was clear that Cream of the South were determined to reassert themselves. They began on the front foot, pressing high and controlling possession. Their play was rewarded when Graham Connolly opened the scoring — his second goal of the day and one that restored confidence across the squad. That crucial strike gave the English side a 1-0 lead at half-time and something to build on.

After the break, Team PL Blue Boys showed flashes of the quality that had made them a dangerous opponent for every team in the group. They pushed forward in search of an equaliser and created a few moments of real threat, but Cream of the South's defensive shape remained compact and disciplined. The English side were increasingly composed on the ball, playing clever passes through midfield to relieve pressure and exploit gaps when the Polish committed men forward. The game was finally made safe when Gavin Miles struck in the second half to double the lead.

At full-time, Cream of the South could be proud of a professional and mature performance that got them back to winning ways with a 2-0 victory. The result saw them climb to joint-top of the group, though they sat third on goal difference — still well placed heading into the final round. It was a second clean sheet to their name and another sign that this team had the balance and resilience to challenge for silverware. For Team PL Blue Boys, it was another case of effort without reward. They remained in fifth place and would need something special in the final round to stay in the competition, but their spirit and work rate had made them one of the most respected sides in the group.

Just A Boy FC came into their fourth group fixture in good spirits after finding their rhythm as the day progressed — improving steadily from defeat to draw to victory. Their task now was simple: avoid defeat and secure a place in the knockout stages, and anything less might leave them vulnerable depending on other results. Standing in their way was Berkshirelona FC, who, despite three straight defeats, had shown flashes of potential and were desperate to turn things around – there was still time. Berkshirelona started superbly, catching Just A Boy FC cold with two quickfire goals. Huw Williams continued his fine scoring form with the opener, his third of the tournament, before Teddy Devlin doubled the advantage. At that stage, Berkshirelona FC looked inspired and determined to make a fight of it. Just A Boy FC, however, were not about to fold — Charlie Wade pulled one back to make it 2-1, only for Dan Hollis to restore the two-goal cushion. David Mobbs responded almost immediately, and the game went into the break finely poised at 3-2 to Berkshirelona FC after a breathless first half.

The second half was a much more measured affair after the first half's five-goal frenzy. Berkshirelona FC defended bravely as Just A Boy FC pushed forward in search of an equaliser that would be enough to see them through. Conversely, Berkshirelona FC could not let this lead slip otherwise they would be out. Chances came and went for both sides, but it was Andrew Mobbs who struck the crucial goal for Just A Boy FC to make it 3-3. The equaliser capped an impressive comeback and underlined the team's resilience — a quality that had been developing with each game of the group phase. They were now unbeaten in 3 matches. Berkshirelona FC tried to rally once more in the closing stages, but their earlier energy seemed to fade, and they were ultimately forced to settle for a point. In isolation, not a bad result but in the context of the group it was not enough.

At full-time, the 3-3 draw was a result that carried major implications. Just A Boy FC confirmed their place in the Plate competition, rewarding their steady improvement and never-say-die spirit. For Berkshirelona FC, it was a bittersweet ending — their best performance of the tournament, but not quite enough to save their campaign. The result also meant Team PL Blue Boys were eliminated alongside Berkshirelona. Still, there was personal recognition for Huw Williams, whose goal-scoring form placed him third in the tournament's top scorer charts — a fine individual achievement in a tough group.
