Some stories are worth the wait, and Galacticos' journey to glory is one of the most wholesome in eurofootballfives.com history. Debuting back in 2009 with a Cup Semi-Final appearance at the Barcelona Fives, they have been regular contenders ever since — with multiple semi-finals, quarter-finals, and three near-miss runner-up finishes. After years of chasing the dream across Europe, their moment finally arrived in Porto 2025. And what a way to do it — eight wins from eight and a commanding 5-0 win in the Cup Final capped off a flawless campaign. JCFC Seniors put up a strong challenge, but the day belonged to Galacticos.

In the Plate competition, Eltham International delivered late drama and ultimate glory. They looked to have wrapped it up with a 1-0 win before Fylde Old Boys — chasing a second consecutive Plate title after success in Prague — equalised at the death. A marathon penalty shoot-out followed, and after 15 successful spot kicks, Tony Martinez made the decisive save to seal victory. It was a standout day for Eltham International, with their striker Stefano Chagas also taking home the Golden Boot after netting 8 goals.

FC Poloboc cemented their legacy by claiming a third consecutive title, becoming the most successful Veterans team in our history. Their path to glory wasn't easy — a tough Semi-Final clash with 2-time champions FC Mahou tested their mettle, before they edged past local favourites Juventude Desportivo Gaia in a hard-fought Cup Final. In the Plate competition, it was a long-awaited breakthrough for Missing Magpies. After years of Open Age appearances, they transitioned to the Veterans game and captured their first European silverware, defeating FC Tpaktop B in the final. A special mention goes to Daniel Videira of Juventude Desportivo Gaia, who earned the Golden Boot with a superb 9-goal tally.

The 2025 eurofootballfives.com season rolled on to the Portuguese capital for another unforgettable edition of the Lisbon Tournament. With teams representing Brazil, England, France, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden, the stage was set for a high-calibre competition — and it certainly delivered.

It was Portuguese debutants Bonde Sem Freio who stole the spotlight, powering through the tournament with six wins from six en route to the Cup Final. There, they faced seasoned compatriots PFC, two-time Lisbon champions (2017 & 2023), in what proved to be a thrilling contest. A 1-1 draw in normal time led to a penalty shoot-out, where Bonde Sem Freio held their nerve with a flawless display from the spot to secure a dream debut victory. PFC didn't leave empty-handed, though — star striker Andre Tomas took home the Golden Boot with six goals.

In the Plate competition, it was a third triumph for RAF1 from the Algarve, following previous Plate victories in Lisbon (2019) and Mallorca (2024). They capped off their campaign with a commanding 4-0 win over fellow Portuguese side Montenelas FC in the final. A huge thank you to all teams who contributed to another fantastic day of football in Lisbon!

It was fantastic to return to the Netherlands for the seventh edition of the Amsterdam Sixes — and once again, the tournament proved as popular as ever, selling out and delivering a superb day of football. With 36 matches played in a packed schedule, the action was non-stop, and at the end of it all, Young Stars emerged as worthy champions.

The Cup Final was a tense, high-quality affair against reigning champions FC NoeNoe. The two sides could not be separated after a 2-2 draw in normal time and again after regulation penalties. It all came down to sudden death, where Young Stars held their nerve to claim a dramatic 5-4 shoot-out win. Remarkably, it was the third time the Amsterdam Sixes had been decided by penalties.

In the Plate competition, it was Humble Goats who took the honours with a strong 3-1 win over 2023 Cup champions Shaheens United — a high-profile clash between two teams with three Cup titles between them. The Golden Boot went to Madalin Stoleriu of Young Stars, whose outstanding 12-goal haul capped a memorable day for the new champions.

The Krakow Trophy once again delivered a thrilling day of football in 2025, with teams from across Europe showcasing their quality, spirit and determination. At the very top, it was the DZ Fennecs who stood out above all others, completing a remarkable campaign with a 100% record and the best defensive record in the tournament. Their ability to blend discipline at the back with moments of creativity going forward ensured they emerged as worthy champions, defeating Half XI in a hard-fought final. Half XI themselves deserve huge credit, reaching the Cup Final unbeaten and proving themselves to be one of the most resilient and consistent teams on the day.

In the Plate competition, it was Bear Ballerz of France who repeated their success from Porto in 2024, lifting their second Plate title with a commanding 4-0 victory in the final. Their attacking quality was on full display, spearheaded by Thomas Ricaux (top scorer in the tournament with 6 goals), while defensively they proved equally hard to break down. Runners-up Los Malakas Hermanos, making their debut in our tournaments, gave an excellent account of themselves, going on a four-match unbeaten run to reach the Plate Final. Though they fell short in the last match, their performances throughout the day mark them out as a team to watch for the future.

A huge thank you goes to all the teams who participated, bringing quality football, great spirit, and fantastic memories to another successful tournament.

The eurofootballfives.com late summer Veterans Tournament returned to Barcelona for the 2025 season after a successful visit to Porto in 2024. JK Silvertown were making a habit of victories on the road as they won the Plate in Barcelona 2023, the Cup in Porto 2024 and added another Cup trophy to their haul with success here in Barcelona.

They were sublime on the day and worthy winners as they went through the tournament unbeaten (7 wins, 1 draw) culminating in a 4-2 Cup Final win. In the Cup Final, they defeated Celtic Eagles who had a pretty decent day themselves as they were unbeaten until running into JK Silvertown. They showed they had enough quality to win on the eurofootballfives.com stage at some point in the future.

In the Plate competition it was Skidmarks who dominated. The team, who had won 3x titles in our Open Age tournaments over the years, competed in the Veterans section for the first time. They had two teams - both finished third in their respective groups and both reached the Plate Final. When the Plate Final concluded it was Skidmarks 4Gs who defeate their OGs counterparts to take victory.

For the individual honours, Chris Wright won the top scorer prize with 12 goals. It was his third golden boot after winning the same prize at the 2018 Amsterdam Fives & 2023 Barcelona Fives..

Well done to everyone for an amazing day of competition and thank you to all teams who participated and played the tournament in such a great spirit and atmosphere. We hope to see you all again soon.

eurofootballfives.com added the Super Veterans tournament to our calendar in 2024 when the event debuted in Porto. On that occasion Polonia Limerick claimed the inaugural title. 12 months later the tournament moved to Barcelona for the 2nd edition. We had 12 teams sign up ready to do battle.

At the end of the day's proceedings it was Polonia Limerick who once again emerged victorious. They were made to work hard for it with a slender 1-0 win over JK Silvertown in the Cup Final. For the individual honours, Lech Madajek of Polonia Limerick won the top scorer prize with 8 as his goals powered his team to victory.

In the Plate competition it was Bristol Wanderers who emerged victorious as they defeated Team PL Blue Boys 1-0 in the final. It was a great end to the day for the English team on debut who won 3 close games in a row to claim the Plate title.

The 2025 Barcelona Fives proved yet again why it's one of the flagship events in the eurofootballfives.com calendar. The Cup competition was won by Easter Island FC, who capped off a sensational campaign with a 1-0 victory in the final over Sharks, the most defensively solid side in the tournament. It was a meeting of the top two teams statistically — Easter Island FC the leading scorers and Sharks boasting the fewest goals conceded. The match itself was a tense and tactical affair, decided by a single strike from Ben Farrar, sealing a memorable triumph for the English side. There was also individual glory for Tom Farrar, who claimed the top scorer award with eight goals — a fitting reward for his clinical finishing and consistent performances across the day.

In the Plate competition, RSC Andylecht lifted the silverware after a remarkable and resilient campaign. Despite playing the entire tournament with the minimum five players, they showed exceptional team spirit and tactical awareness to navigate through tight knockout games and secure a 1-0 win over Argon'ze B in the final — with Chris Bishop once again providing the decisive goal, just as he had done when the two sides met in the group phase. For Argon'ze B, it was a bittersweet end to a fine run. The French team have now appeared in three eurofootballfives.com finals but are still chasing that elusive title after previous near misses in Budapest (2019)** and Amsterdam (2024). Their consistency and determination, however, continue to make them one of the most admired sides on the circuit.

A huge thank you to all the teams who joined us for this year's tournament and contributed to such a fantastic day of football in the Catalan sunshine. From thrilling group battles to nail-biting knockout clashes, the 2025 Barcelona Fives delivered everything we love about 5-a-side football — skill, competition, and camaraderie in abundance. We hope everyone enjoyed the experience and we look forward to welcoming you all back to the eurofootballfives.com stage next season for more great football, friendships, and memories.

The 2025 Barcelona Sevens came to a thrilling conclusion with F.R. Ady crowned as deserved champions of the Cup competition. The Hungarian side were outstanding from start to finish, combining technical excellence, tactical intelligence, and relentless energy throughout the day. Their 3–1 victory in the final over Sporting Armada showcased everything that made them special — resilience under pressure, clinical finishing, and a strong team spirit. Commiserations to Sporting Armada, who played with heart and quality all day, and can take immense pride in reaching the final of such a high-class tournament.

In the Plate competition, congratulations go to Milner Street, who produced an excellent run to claim the title. They showed consistency, teamwork, and determination to come out on top. They produced 3 back-to-back wins at the end scoring 11 in those matches to peak at just the right time. New Ham United wer runners-up, who fell just short in the final but can look back on a strong campaign that saw them play some fine football on European soil. Both teams added great excitement and entertainment to the day, embodying the spirit and sportsmanship that define eurofootballfives events.

A special mention must go to Szabo Csaba, whose eight-goal haul earned him the Top Goalscorer award — a fitting recognition of his influence and quality throughout the competition. His goals were crucial in F.R. Ady's road to glory.
