Humble Goats continued their title defence against Apolo Legends. It had gone pretty well so far with two 1-0 wins and they sat at the top of Group B. Apolo Legends were one of four teams currently level on 3 points in an enlarged mid-table. A win for the Legends and they would join their opponents at the top of the table.

It would be a huge task for Apolo Legends as Humble Goats had only lost one game in the group phase of our tournaments. Their overall record in our tournaments read 8 wins, 6 draws and just 2 defeats. The Humble Goats were yet to concede today so when Wissam Albarho put the defending champions ahead it looked ominous for Apolo Legends. Albarho's strike was enough to separate the teams at half-time. After the change of ends Humble Goats extended their lead to 2-0 and it was Wissam Albarho again with the goal.

Jamal Aissa, goalkeeper for Humble Goats, went on to keep a third clean sheet for his team as he played a crucial role in the Dutch team's success. Humble Goats chalked up win #3 as they lead the way in Group B. There were no fireworks as yet but they were quietly going about their business with aplomb.

To complete Round 3 we had Dynamo Leila versus Bear Ballers. The two teams occupied the mid-table positions with a win and a loss each. This game and a victory could prove pivotal and dictate whether they would be playing their final fixtures vying for the Cup or Plate qualification. A draw would leave them treading water in those mid-table positions in what was a very competitive league.

In a closely contested match between Dynamo Leila and Bear Ballers, the first half ended in a goalless draw, with both teams battling hard to find the breakthrough.

As the second half unfolded, the intensity and pressure of the match continued to rise. Bear Ballers showed great determination and persistence, pressing forward in search of a decisive goal. Their efforts paid off when Nicolas Thorel found the back of the net, giving Bear Ballers a crucial 1-0 lead.

Despite the setback, Dynamo Leila fought hard to equalize. They launched several attacks and created scoring opportunities, but Bear Ballers' defense remained resolute, denying their opponents any clear-cut chances. It was a second successive clean sheet for Nick Moura as he helped his team celebrate their hard-fought 1-0 victory.

Both teams displayed commendable performances, but Bear Ballers' ability to convert their chances ultimately made the difference. The defeat was a damaging one for Dynamo Leila who slipped from second place to fourth. Bear Ballers' reward for victory was second place in the table.
