Just a week on from Humble Goats 2022 Amsterdam Sevens success they were back in action at the 2022 Amsterdam Sixes. They opened up with their first defeat in our events, 3-1 to Dolce and Lallana before a 1-1 draw against LFFC (Fra). They had a tough task to qualify for the Cup especially as they were due to face the 2022 Amsterdam Fives champions next, FC Kicks. They brushed them aside 4-0 before a 2-2 draw against Colden Hommodore left their Cup qualification in the balance. They won their final game 10-0 to go through on goal difference in second place – one of 3 teams locked on 8 points.

They were involved in arguably the match of the tournament in the Cup Semi-Final when trailing 2-1 late on to Portugal's RAF. A late controversial penalty (ball-to-hand or hand-to-ball, it was a 50/50 shout) saw them equalise late on. They then won their third successive penalty shoot-out in our tournaments to progress to the final. They were unable to make it double success as a very tight Cup Final finished 1-0 to Ball Bashers as Humble Goats collected runners-up medals in the presentation.

Humble Goats had already won their opening fixture today and FNF on Tour faced a massive task as they took on the Goats at the start of Round 2. FNF on Tour would come into the game with confidence though as they'd also enjoyed a winning start to the tournament. FNF on Tour had won their first game 1-0 but they found themselves a goal down early on here. Rafael Hernandez was the man with the first half goal. It was the only goal of the game as Humble Goats secured their second successive victory of the day. The title defence was going well.

In a crucial Group B encounter, Bear Ballers and Billit Dreamz entered the match hungry for their first goals and points in the tournament. Both teams had suffered 1-0 defeats in their opening games and were eager to turn their fortunes around.

The match began with both teams displaying a strong desire to find the back of the net. It was Bear Ballers who struck first, as Apostolos Mourouzis opened the scoring, giving his team a valuable 1-0 lead. As the game progressed into the second half, Bear Ballers continued to press forward in search of another goal. Their efforts paid off once again when Apostolos Mourouzis found the back of the net for the second time, extending his team's lead to 2-0. Mourouzis' clinical finishing provided Bear Ballers with a comfortable advantage.

From a defensive perspective, Bear Ballers' goalkeeper Nick Moura put on an impressive display, ensuring a clean sheet for his team. Moura made crucial saves and organized the defense effectively, denying Billit Dreamz any chance to get on the scoresheet.

Despite their best efforts to mount a comeback, Billit Dreamz was unable to breach Bear Ballers' defense. The match concluded with the score at 2-0 securing Bear Ballers their first victory of the day and their first points in Group B.
