Group B began with The Shepherd's Arms (Wal) taking on Scunthadam (Ned) both on debut. It promised to be an exciting encounter as both sides looked to make a strong impression in their first tournament outing.

From the opening whistle, The Shepherd's Arms displayed their attacking intent, pushing forward with purpose and determination. Their efforts were rewarded in the when Kieran Roberts found himself in the right place at the right time to put his team 1-0 up. Next up was Summerhouse versus FC Maroon as the Netherlands met England. Today was FC Maroon's 11th campaign in our events. Their most recent appearance was at the 2022 Lisbon Tournament where they opened up with a 2-0 defeat to OS Sadinos (Por) before registering their first win with a 2-0 victory over Fail Madrid. A 5-0 defeat followed to an excellent French team in Blue Collar Revolution before facing the top two teams in their final two games and losing those 4-0 to The Basemen and 4-1 to Galacticos. They qualified for the Trophy Semi-Finals when they went down 2-1 to Moles Salah.

Summerhouse were on debut but made an instant impression by going 1-0 up in the first half. Omar Shoaib converted a penalty to put his team 1-0 up at half-time. After the break Omar Shoaib doubled the lead before Wilner Leijgraaff made it 3-0.

There was still time for Lewis Hope to pull a goal back but it merely proved to be a consolation as FC Maroon slipped to a 3-1 defeat.

So, without further ado we headed on to game 3 of Group B which was an all-England encounter. It was Fog Lane Albion (Eng) against E Block Europe (Eng). As both teams were on debut, they were an unknown quantity, and so they had a blank canvas upon which to paint their footballing artistry. Let the games commence……

Right from the start, Fog Lane Albion showcased their attacking prowess and intent, putting pressure on the E Block Europe defence. Their efforts paid off in the first half as Joe Holder opened the scoring. Buoyed by their early goal, Fog Lane Albion continued to press forward, creating scoring opportunities and testing the E Block Europe back line. Their persistence was rewarded once again when Will Holder-Wood extended their lead.

Trailing by two goals, E Block Europe entered the second half with determination to mount a comeback. They were rewarded when Frank Brindle scored, igniting hope for E Block Europe. The goal injected new life into their performance and spurred them on to push for an equalizer.

Both teams battled fiercely in the remaining minutes of the match, with Fog Lane Albion attempting to consolidate their lead and E Block Europe desperately searching for the crucial goal to level the scoreline. However, despite their best efforts, neither team managed to add to the scoreline.
