Round 4 of Group A began with Rigford Seahawks Alpha against Brighton & Hove Rockets. Rigford Seahawks Alpha had put opening game defeat behind them to remain unbeaten in their previous two fixtures. If they could make that 3 games then they could make a serious move up the table. Brighton & Hove Rockets on the otherhand were looking for their points of the day although had a game in hand on the teams immediately above them.

By half-time in this game it was looking good for Brighton & Hove Rockets as Gary Cox gave his side a vital lead. Rigford Seahawks Alpha had found themselves 1-0 down last time out against Inter Women and on that occasion Wayne Hayes equalizer salvaged a point. They were able to come back again with Ben Kent the goalscoring hero on this occasion. The game finished 1-1.

Rigford Seahawks Alpha were now 3 games unbeaten but with two draws it meant their progress was slower than they would have hoped for as they sat in 5th place but only 2 points behind the leaders so they had it all to play for.

Conceding the equalizer was a blow for the Rockets as they looked to make up ground on 6th place. A point helped but a win would have been so much better. Still, the point was a good platform for them to kick on in Group A.

AAK S&S brought the group's only 100% record into Round 4 as they took on CEPL. Having started brightly, CEPL had now lost two on the spin and needed a result here to get their challenge back on track.

The Dutch produced a great first half-display as they established a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Rakesh Dewoe and then Mailo Brown. The second half got even better as Mailo Brown bagged his second of the game before Przemek Krawczyk and Arkadiusz Piontek added to the tally. AAK S&S replied through Richard Clubley but they were outgunned and their 100% record had gone in some style.

It was just the result CEPL needed as they moved into 2nd place. AAK S&S had seen their progress halted but they were still well-placed in Group A.

Round 4 would be concluded with GBS Reds taking on Inter Women. The English team started much the stronger and dominated most of the first-half. Gordon MacIntosh in the GBS Reds goal was by far the busier of the keepers and he did well to keep the Inter Women forwards at bay but he was helpless to prevent Dave Foran making it 1-0. If they could keep the lead they would go top on seven points but they were not looking to keep the lead, they were looking to extend it. It was one-way traffic and it was a bolt out the blue when Wilco Veldhuizen's thunder strike made it 1-1 before half-time.

The second half followed the same pattern as the first with Inter Women putting their opponents under intense pressure. The pressure told when Daniel Powell put his side 2-1 up. The scourge of Inter Women, in the form of Veldhuizen, returned in the final moments of the game as he made it 2-2 and salvaged an unlikely draw. The final whistle went and honours were even. The draw was enough to see GBS Reds move 1 point clear at the top of Group A.

Like Rigford Seahawks Alpha, draws were preventing Inter Women from surging up the table but they were in a good position if they could grab a couple of victories.
