Game 6 of Group A brought together two sides with strong early form as FC Tpaktop A faced group leaders Missing Magpies. The CIS team had experienced a mixed start, with one win and one defeat, while the Magpies arrived unbeaten and yet to concede, having racked up two confident victories.

FC Tpaktop A started brightly and caught their English opponents early doors with a fast, aggressive approach. Aleksandru Tabusinic broke the deadlock early on, finishing well to put his side in front with his second goal of the tournament. The pressure continued and Leonid Sislo doubled the lead before half-time, giving FC Tpaktop A a solid 2-0 cushion going into the break.

Missing Magpies pushed in the second half to get back into the game but were unable to find a breakthrough against a well-organised Tpaktop defence. The result marked the first defeat for the Magpies and pulled FC Tpaktop A level with them in the standings. With three teams now tied on six points at the top of Group A, the race to qualify for the Cup was thrown wide open.

Game 7 of Group A saw FC Dad and Mitre FC Vets B go head-to-head in what was shaping up to be a crucial clash for Plate qualification. With both sides sitting pointless after two rounds and six points behind the group leaders, this match had the feel of a knock-out tie, with the winner taking a significant step toward extending their tournament beyond the group stage.

FC Dad made the stronger start, with Stuart Leslie proving a threat up front. He struck twice in the first half, giving his side a 2-0 lead at the break and firmly in control of proceedings. After the interval, Leslie completed his hat-trick to make it 3-0 and all but seal the points. This was the fourth hat-trick for FC Dad in eurofootballfives.com competition and Leslie was the second man to do it after Calum Jones hat-tricks in Barcelona (2015, 2019) and the Lisbon Vets (2022).

Mitre FC Vets B gave themselves a lifeline when Phil Peacock pulled one back, but any hopes of a comeback were short-lived. Max Hill restored the three-goal cushion, making it 4-1 and putting the result beyond doubt. FC Dad claimed their first win of the tournament and put themselves in a strong position for Plate qualification, while Mitre FC Vets B were left needing a result in their final game to keep their hopes alive.

Game 8 of Group A was a high-stakes clash between two of the tournament's early front-runners as Missing Magpies took on FC Poloboc. Both sides came into the match on six points, although FC Poloboc held the advantage with a game in hand and a perfect record, including a flawless defensive record. For the Magpies, this was a chance to bounce back from their first defeat and potentially reclaim control of the group.

FC Poloboc, however, quickly asserted their authority with a blistering first-half performance. Andrian Cucovei opened the scoring and then added a second to give his side a commanding lead. Grigore Badea added a third before Gheorghe Bulatel made it 4-0 before the break, as the Moldovan side ran riot and continued their impressive run.

Missing Magpies showed some fight after the interval, with Michael Pyper grabbing his fourth goal of the tournament to reduce the deficit to 4-1. But any hopes of an unlikely comeback were dashed when Iou Papau struck to make it 5-1 and complete a dominant win for FC Poloboc. The result confirmed Poloboc as the standout team in Group A so far, while Missing Magpies now faced a nervy wait for FC Tpaktop A's final game with their Cup qualification hopes hanging in the balance.

Missing Magpies would not have to wait long as FC Tpaktop A were up next against FC Dad. FC Tpaktop A only needed a point to secure Cup qualification. A defeat would see them miss out on goal difference – most likely to Missing Magpies – but a big win for FC Dad could potentially see them leapfrog both teams to reach second position. They would need a 5-0 win to go level with Missing Magpies on goal difference but would go out on the head-to-head results. A higher scoring 5 goal win or larger margin of victory would see FC Dad through.

FC Dad came into the game on form following a 4-1 victory but goals were conspicuous by their absence in the opening period. We changed ends with the teams still deadlocked at 0-0. With each passing minute FC Dad's hopes were fading as they needed a goal-fest. For FC Tpaktop A, they were getting closer to qualification. Missing Magpies watching on desperately needed an FC Dad goal.

When the breakthrough came it was a dagger to both English team's hopes. Ivan Moschevitin was the man to find the back of the net and essentially consign FC Dad to the Plate. Missing Magpies still had outside hopes of an FC Dad comeback but it never materialised. Peter Tochmanov and Aleksandru Tabunsic would go on to add a second and a third to seal a 3-0 win. With victory, came FC Tpaktop A's qualification for the Cup.

The final game of Group A saw top meet bottom as FC Poloboc faced Mitre FC Vets B in what looked, on paper, a formality. FC Poloboc needed just a point to secure the Group A title, while Mitre FC Vets B required an unlikely five-goal win to leapfrog FC Dad and snatch a Plate qualification place. In the end, the game unfolded in line with expectations, with the Moldovan side showing no signs of complacency.

FC Poloboc came flying out of the blocks, and Leonid Cigureanu set the tone with two early strikes to put his team in control. Cornel Popou, Ion Bogza, and Gheorge Bulatel all found the net as Poloboc powered into a 4-0 lead by half-time and 5-0 shortly after, effectively putting the result beyond doubt and extinguishing any faint hopes Mitre might have held.

The second half saw more of the same, with Cigureanu completing his hat-trick and Bulatel adding his second of the match to wrap up a commanding 7-0 victory. FC Poloboc confirmed their place as Group A winners with a perfect record—four wins from four and just one goal conceded—while Mitre FC Vets B exited the competition.
