Game 6 of Group C brought together two closely matched sides with plenty at stake, as table-toppers Shush IF (Swe) faced third-placed Solly March FC (Eng). With just one point separating the teams and both still very much in the hunt for Cup qualification, the match promised intensity — and delivered a compelling contest.

Shush IF, unbeaten coming into the game, looked to impose their fluent style early, while Solly March FC were compact and organised, keen to frustrate and counter. The breakthrough came before half-time when Johan Isaksson continued his fine form in front of goal, grabbing his second of the tournament to edge the Swedes ahead. The goal gave Shush IF a vital platform, and they showed real tactical discipline after the break to protect their lead.

Solly March FC rallied in the second half, pushing forward in search of an equaliser, but were met with a resilient defensive effort from Shush IF who stood tall under pressure. The 1-0 victory was hard-fought and significant — it not only maintained Shush IF's unbeaten run but also gave them a three-point cushion at the top of Group C, putting them in pole position as the group stage nears its conclusion.

Game 7 of Group C saw Montenelas FC (Por) take on Mngball United (Eng) in a crucial clash for both teams' hopes of Cup qualification. Montenelas, surprisingly without a point after two rounds, were looking to recapture the form that saw them top their group in 2022 — ahead of two-time champions PFC. Mngball United, meanwhile, were eager to bounce back from a defeat in their last outing and knew that a win here would take them just one point off top spot.

The English side made a strong start, with Luke Prietzel finding the net to hand them an early lead. Montenelas responded well, showing glimpses of their pedigree, and were back on level terms before half-time through Andre Pacheco. At 1-1, the match was finely balanced, but it was Mngball United who seized control after the break.

Heliodoro Gomes emerged as the difference-maker. First, he struck to restore the English side's advantage, and then sealed the win with a powerful strike that left no doubt about the outcome. The 3-1 victory gave Mngball United a vital three points, kept them firmly in the mix for a top-two finish, and left Montenelas FC still searching for their first points of the day.

Following Foot 130's 2023 Amsterdam win, they travelled to Prague in 2024. The group stage proved highly successful as they won Group A with 13 points from a possible 15. The Semi-Final was a 9-1 demolition of Mardi Southgate Gras as they chased down a second title. In the Cup Final they emerged victorious 5-2 over Mitre FC A. Could they make it a hat-trick of titles in Lisbon?

When they completed their last game they had a share of top spot. They had since seen Shush IF open up a 3 point lead in first place. Foot 130 A could close that gap with a second consecutive victory as they took on Solly March FC. The English team were in 4 th place but if they could eek out a win here they could challenge for third place in the table and potentially a place in the Cup.

Solly March FC's last game had been a tight 1-0 affair but this was a goal-fest. Rodrigue Atikossie put the French 1-0 to the good with his fourth goal of the tournament. Dmitri Chendjou Fotso then opened his personal account to make it 2-0. Chris John struck to reduce the deficit to 2-1 before Fotso's second of the game made it 3-1 at half-time.

At the start of the second half it was game on again as Danny O'Neill pulled Solly March FC back to 3-2 before Foot 130 A put their foot on the accelerator to seal all 3 points. Thibaut Margottat's fourth of the tournament made it 4-2 before Sebastien Thomas and Geoffroy Berthier scored for 5-2 and 6-2 respectively. Foot 130 A surged back to the top of the table on goal difference.

With Group C finely poised, the penultimate game brought together two of the group's standout performers – Shush IF of Sweden and Mngball United FC of England. Both teams had shown quality throughout the group phase, and with just a single point separating them, this encounter promised to be pivotal. Shush IF came into the game unbeaten on 7 points, while Mngball United had picked up 6 from 3 games. The stakes were clear: the winner would likely top the group, while the loser could be resigned to third – though with 6 or more points, Cup qualification was still probable.

The first half was a tight, tactical affair, with both sides cancelling each other out. Shush IF looked well-organised and dangerous on the break, while Mngball United were patient in possession and probing for openings. Despite chances at both ends, the half-time whistle came with the scoreline locked at 0-0.

Whatever was said in the Mngball United huddle at half-time worked wonders. They came out with renewed purpose and produced a blistering second-half performance. Aaron White broke the deadlock to give his side the lead. From there, it was all Mngball. James Evans doubled the advantage and then capped off a superb team display with a third goal to seal the 3-0 win. The result not only sent a statement to the rest of the competition but also moved Mngball United into pole position in Group C with just one match remaining.

The final match in Group C and the Group Phase as a whole was Montenelas FC versus Foot 130 A. Montenelas FC had experienced a strange tournament so far. Dating back to 2022 they were unbeaten in 5 games and winning their group. Since then, they had lost 4 games in a row. It was a run of form that saw them propping up the Group C table. Whatever happened in this game they would be playing in the Plate competition this afternoon. They were likely to finish 5th but a two goal win could see them climb to fourth.

The pre-match focus was on Foot 130 A. Could they claim the victory that would see them win the group? If they were to draw they would finish in 2nd place in the table. A defeat would see 2nd and 3rd place decided by goal difference between Shush IF and Foot 130 A. The French currently held the advantage and were likely to qualify for the Cup regardless of the result here.

The game did not run with the form book early on as Montenelas FC were given a helping hand thanks to an own goal from the unfortunate Dimitri Chendjou Fotso. Normal service seemed to be resumed when Billy Falola bagged a double to turn French fortunes around. From a goal down, he put his side 2-1 up at the break.

As things stood, Foot 130 A were top of Group C with just one half of football to go. Montenelas FC had lost 3 games so far and were staring down the barrel of a fourth. It was therefore a shock to see this game turn on its head again. Ricardo Pires levelled the game at 2-2 before Leandro Teixeira put Montenelas FC. Foot 130 A were unable to respond as Montenelas FC bagged their first win of the day. They would go into the Plate with a little bit of momentum. Foot 130 A had done enough to secure second place and reach the Cup.
