Format: 4 groups of 5 teams will play in the group stages. The top two teams progress to the Cup which will then be played on a knockout basis. The teams placed third and fourth will progress to the Plate which will also be played on a knockout basis. The teams finishing fifth in each group will be eliminated.

Sit down with a blank piece of paper and think of all the legends and stars of the world game that have applied their trade in Barcelona. You can probably note down a good couple of dozen without thinking - Cruyff, Guardiola, Koeman, Laudrup, Ronaldo, Romario, Stoichkov, Maradona, Ronaldo, Figo, Luis Enrique, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, Deco, Giuly, Eto'o, Marquez, Lineker, Puyol, Thuram, Zambrotta....the list could go on.

While we can't secure the Camp Nou for you to play in we can arrange a tournament in Barcelona for you and we have secured a very good venue. If you want to visit the hugely impressive Camp Nou we can arrange a stadium tour for you. Depending on how La Liga fixtures pan out we can also obtain (subject to availability) tickets for you to visit the mighty Barcelona FC. If Barcelona are away this weekend, we can look at getting you tickets for Espanyol as an alternative.

Putting football to one side, Barcelona itself is a fascinating city awash with historical and modern art and culture and not to mention one of the most cosmopolitan and vibrant cities in Europe. The city has a certain buzz to it both during the day and the evenings when the night scene bursts into life. If you never get the chance to visit Barcelona during your life you have definitely missed out.

Tournament Venue

The Barca Fives will be held at the Maddock Sports club which has specialist 5- and 7-a-side pitches. The pitches are new generation artificial grass laid on a bed of rubber fibregel balls/pellets. The venue is a great quality venue and perfect for the tournament.

Prices

The prices below are based upon flights into and out of Barcelona International Airport (BCN). Flights, predominantly Ryanair, are availabile into Girona and Reus airports as well. For these airports we do not include airport transfers as these prove extremely expensive plus there are buses that meet the flight and transfer you to central Barcelona which works out much more efficient and economical. For dormitory accommodation, we will reserve a private dormitory for you. The size will depend upon the size of your group.

Apartments - we reserve the right to select the appropriate apartment(s) for your group.

Flights are excluded from the prices quoted. We are at your disposal to give you information, recommendations and advice on the flight options available. Our advice costs nothing. If you would then like us to book your flights on your behalf we can do but we would then add a booking fee. We can book your flights for you and will book them at cost. We charge a booking fee of £5.00 per passenger which will automatically be added to your bill. All flights are instant purchase and credit card payment is required at the time of booking. Your contract will be with the airline and the airline will show on your bank or credit card statement. Any airline handling fees such as payment fees will be charged by the airline direct to you.
