The A Team v Riises Pieces was a must-win clash for both sides hoping to revive their campaign. Riises Pieces, still chasing a place in the Plate, were already showing promise with narrow losses earlier in the group. The problem for both teams thus far had been in attack so we may have expected a low-scoring game but we'd have been wrong.

Riises Pieces opened the scoring through Robbie Heywood, then doubled the advantage with another from Heywood in the first half. Fateh Bekhouche pulled a goal back to make it 2-1 before the break and all to play for in the second period. Chris Maydom added a third for Riises Pieces in the second half making it 3-1 but there was much conjecture on if the goal was an own goal. The referee was happy to give it to Maydom. Maydom's team-mates seemed desperate to take the goal away from their team-mate but the referee's note is what will go down in the record books. Fateh Bekhouche scored another for The A Team to make it 3-2. His experience in this competition dates back to the 2013 Krakow Trophy and his brace here proves class is permanent despite the ageing legs.

Riises Pieces' 3-2 victory left them with momentum heading into their final game, while The A Team were mathematically eliminated. Riises Pieces could now focus on securing a Plate Semi-Final berth, while The A Team would finish bottom of the group regardless of results.

DZ Fennecs v Big Time was a top-of-the-table clash with Group B supremacy at stake. Both teams were unbeaten, while Big Time had impressed with consistent performances and sought to keep pace with the leaders. DZ Fennecs had the maximum 6 points on offer.

DZ Fennecs opened the scoring in the first half through Krzystof Swol, taking a slender 1-0 lead into the break. In the second half, Walid Moussi scored twice, to put the match beyond doubt. Moussi's tally now stood at 4 for the tournament, making him a contender for the top scorer accolade.

The 3-0 win strengthened DZ Fennecs' claim for top spot as they opened up a 5 point lead. The result highlighted their defensive solidity and attacking efficiency. Big Time remained in second place but would need to respond in the final games to secure their Cup qualification.

Juno FC v Riises Pieces was the final group game for Riises Pieces, who had to put it all on the line here and now as all other teams had a game in hand. They needed a win to have any hope of making the Cup competition, and the pressure was on. A point would rubber stamp their place in the Plate. Juno FC had already secured a Plate spot and could play with a little more freedom as they chased a Cup spot and would not make it easy for their opponents.

Riises Pieces started brightly and dominated the opening exchanges. Anthony Lenihan opened the scoring and added a second before half-time, giving his team a commanding 2-0 lead at the break. Dan Willoughby then extended the advantage early in the second half, making it 3-0 and putting the result firmly beyond doubt. Juno FC did pull one back through Dawid Stracilo, a consolation goal that demonstrated their attacking quality, but it was too late to alter the outcome.

The 3-1 victory confirmed Riises Pieces' place in the Plate competition and provided a boost of confidence heading into the knock-out stages. Riises Pieces could still reach the Cup but they needed Big Time and Juno FC both to lose their final fixtures. Juno FC had lost their unbeaten status with their Cup hopes hanging by a thread – they now needed to beat the league leaders and for Big Time to lose. The victory gave Riises Pieces momentum and rewarded their persistence over the group phase.

The A Team v Big Time was the last game of the group for both teams and the last game of the tournament for The A Team, who had now been eliminated with other results not going their way. Big Time, on the other hand, needed a win to confirm their place in the Cup, making the stakes high for the visitors. The contrast in motivation was clear from the outset.

Big Time raced into a 3-0 half-time lead through a clinical display. Kyle Coughlan opened the scoring with a brace, while Kevin Ezequiel added a third to put the game firmly beyond doubt. The second half followed a similar pattern as Big Time continued to press relentlessly, with Ezequiel scoring twice more and Coughlan adding a final goal to complete the 6-0 demolition. Both players had secured hat-tricks. Every attack was executed with precision, and The A Team struggled to contain the relentless pressure. The French team had played with just 6 players and no subs which had put them at a disadvantage – it was a weary end to the day for them but we thank them as ever for joining us in Europe.

The emphatic win secured Big Time's spot in the Cup, showing their strength and goal-scoring potential. The A Team finished their tournament without a win, bowing out early, but they gained valuable experience to take into future events – perhaps a return to the Veterans scene? Big Time now had momentum and confidence for the knock-out phase.

DZ Fennecs v Juno FC was the final match of Group B. DZ Fennecs had already won the group but could keep their 100% record going with a win or remain unbeaten with a draw. The game was academic for them. For Juno FC they had to win and win by 3 goals to climb above Big Time into second on goal difference. This would be a tall order against the league leaders – but maybe DZ Fennecs' focus was already on the Cup Semi-Final?

Any potential doubts were dismissed when Walid Moussi struck early for DZ Fennecs, giving them a 1-0 lead and setting the tone for a competitive match. Juno FC responded through Jakub Adamczyk to equalise, keeping their hopes alive and demonstrating their resilience. The match remained tight until Mustapha Maddouri scored the winner for DZ Fennecs, giving the Polish side a hard-fought 2-1 victory.

The win ensured DZ Fennecs finished top of Group B with a perfect record, maintaining their defensive solidity while securing maximum points. Juno FC could now focus on the Plate, their strong group performance ensuring a place in the semi-finals. Both teams had shown quality throughout the phase, but DZ Fennecs' ability to win all group games was second to none in the tournament.
