Group B began with Turn Down For Watford versus CBT FC.

Turn Down For Watford entered the tournament on the back of success at the 2022 Amsterdam Sevens. They began well with a 3-0 win over CIS team FC Tpaktop and a 4-0 win over JK Silvertown. Eventual winners (and also 2023 winners) Humble Goats then defeated them 3-0 before a 2-1 loss to Colonel Getafe. They were back to winning ways in their final group game as they defeated Murder on Zidane's Floor (Hol), 4-1. In the Plate competition they were on fire as 5-1 and 5-2 defeats against Dnipro (Hol) and Milner Street (Eng) saw them crowned Plate champions. There was personal success for Jase Opuke Afriyie who won the top goalscorer award. In fact, Turn Down For Watford occupied the top 3 positions with Rich Lyons and Ben Gregory also prolific.

Turn Down For Watford started the tournament with a strong performance, securing a 3-0 victory over their opponents. In the first half, they established a 2-0 lead. James Wood was the star of the show, netting both goals. As the second half began, Turn Down For Watford continued to press their advantage. Ben Gregory extended their lead with a well-executed free-kick, putting his team ahead 3-0. A Jase Opuku Afriyie header produced a fantastic save from Ross Edmonds in goal for CBT FC. Jordan Hope also came close for CBT FC, striking the post with a free-kick, but they couldn't find a way past the resilient Turn Down For Watford defence.

Next up was Big Time Krakow (Pol) versus Cream of the South (Eng).

Big Time Krakow made their debut at the 2017 Krakow Trophy. They secured 2 wins and 2 draws from their 5 group games as they finished second to Switzerland's Krakowcaine. They qualified for the Cup Semi-Finals and defeated Fylde FC B 2-1. In the Cup Final they drew 0-0 with Slovakia's GSF Drunkerz but won 4-3 on penalties to claim the title.

The game was a showcase of impressive defensive performances from both teams. Full credit was due to the goalkeepers and their respective defences, as they managed to keep clean sheets. Adrian Baranek, the goalkeeper for Big Time Krakow, displayed exceptional shot-stopping abilities, denying Cream of the South's attempts to find the back of the net. On the other side, George Brigden stood tall between the posts for Cream of the South, making crucial saves to maintain the level score.

Despite the best efforts of both teams to break the deadlock, neither could find the decisive goal. The match ended with a 0-0 scoreline, with both sides taking a point from the encounter. Only time would tell if it was a point gained or two points dropped.

So, without further ado we headed on to game 3 of Group B which was RAF of Portugal versus Mngball FC with the latter on debut. They were dealt a tricky looking opening fixture.

The Portuguese team's most recent performance was earlier this year at the 2023 Lisbon Tournament. They had 3 teams. RAF1 and RAF3 were drawn in Group A. RAF3 secured 5 wins and 1 draw whilst RAF1 secured 5 wins and 1 defeat (with that defeat coming against their sister squad). Between them, they scored 31 goals and conceded just 3. They both qualified for the Cup Semi-Finals and surprisingly both went out. RAF3 went down 2-1 to England's Lindfield FC. RAF1 were knocked out by Brazil's PFC who went on to win their second Lisbon title. In Group B, RAF2 looked almost as good as RAF1 and RAF3 but were held to 3 draws in their opening 3 games. They then lost their next 3 games (all narrowly) and it was a shock as they were eliminated at the group phase. With their strength consolidated to 1 team for Krakow we anticipated a strong challenge in Poland from RAF.

The game kicked off with both teams eager to make their mark on the tournament. RAF was the first to strike, with Diogo Arsenio opening the scoring in the first half, giving his team a valuable lead. However, Mngball FC didn't back down. After the halftime break, they launched a determined comeback. James Evans found the back of the net to level the match at 1-1. With the game hanging in the balance, it was Diogo Arsenio who once again proved to be the difference-maker for RAF. In the second half, he scored two crucial goals, completing his hat-trick and securing victory for his team.
