Deddington Sea Badgers win their first eurofootballfives.com title!

The 5th May 2018 marked our 95th tournament in Europe and our return to Latvia having previously visited Riga in September 2016. Two years ago, L'Albiceleste of France were victorious. In 2018, Deddington Sea Badgers took their crown in stunning fashion.

In the Cup Final, Riga United were odds on favourites having defeated the Sea Badgers 9-3 in the group phase. Deddington Sea Badgers were simply magnificent in the Cup Final though. Having lead 1-0 and 2-1 they then had to fight back from 3-2 down to set-up a penalty shoot-out. They won the shoot-out and claimed their first eurofootballfives.com title in their second eurofootballfives.com appearance.

In the Plate competition, there was success for Johnsbridge FC who also won their first eurofootballfives.com trophy having previously collected runners-up medals in the Plate at the 2016 Krakow Trophy. They defeated Spider Mans 1s in the Plate Final.

The Wooden Spoon competition was claimed by Stag Park Rangers as they saw off 3 Lions FC in the Wooden Spoon Final.

The Top Goalscorer prize was a one-sided affair with Victor Lopez Garcia bagging an awesome 20 goals on the day to win the golden boot award.
