GBS Reds and Deportivo had both already qualified for the Cup but this game was far from a dead rubber. At stake was the honour of being Group A champions and, in theory, securing an easier Cup Quarter-Final tie.

These two teams had met before in the group stage of the 2010 Prague Trophy and on that occasion Deportivo won 3-1. Unfortunately for GBS Reds it was to be a repeat result but this time by a 4-1 margin. Jesus Castillo had two more goals to his name taking him to 5 for the tournament so far plus there were goals for Andi Guadalupe and Otoniel Salazar.

Maxence Cuvelier scored the goal for GBS Reds in a strange quirk of fate as he had been the goalscorer in the 3-1 2010 Prague Trophy defeat. The result meant that Deportivo were crowned Group A champions with a 100% record of 5 successive wins. GBS Reds would need to shake off this result and look ahead to a Cup Quarter-Final.

FC Dad had so far performed well without picking up results and although they had suffered defeats many of them had been by narrow margins against quality opposition. If they could produce a victory here then 4th place was attainable. Any other result and it would be Team Also-Ran taking 4th spot.

From early on in this game it looked like the Irish team would take the points as they quickly established a 2-0 first half lead. They showed a ruthless streak in the second period turning 2-0 into 5-0 as Paul Torsney (2), Lorcan Aherne (2) and Shane Murphy outgunned their opponents. It was a decisive victory but academic in one sense as both teams would play their knock-out football in the Plate competition unless Zizkov Drunks in Group B could win their last game which would knock FC Dad into the Wooden Spoon (we will later find out that wasn't to be the case).

The 15th and final game of Group A was AC Lesk versus It's Back. A big win for It's Back would see them become one of the two best 3 rd placed teams and qualify for the Cup. From early on that never looked likely though as AC Lesk took a 2-1 lead into the break. It got better for AC Lesk as they extended their lead to 3-1 but then It's Back staged a comeback as Charlie Court made it 3-2 before Geoff Carter drew the teams level at 3-3. The referee blew the final whistle and that's how it finished.

AC Lesk, whose goals were scored by James Mackay (2) and Jason Nguyen, had earned their second draw of the day and jumped into 5 th position. For It's Back the draw confirmed them in 3rd place in Group A. However, with the two 3rd placed teams in Group B and Group C on 9 points they would not make the Cup but go into the Plate draw.
