Format: 4 groups of 4 teams will play in the group stages. The top two teams progress to the Cup which will then be played on a knockout basis. The teams placed third and fourth will progress to the Plate which will also be played on a knockout basis.

The Krakow Trophy will enter its third year in 2009. This very successful tournament has established itself as the traditional curtain-raiser of the eurofootballfives.com season. In April 2007 the Northern Monkeys became the first ever winners of a eurofootballfives.com tournament. In 2008 they were unable to defend their crown as Red Light Runners of Scotland defeated the Northern Monkeys on their way to the title. Polish pride is hurt as two strong challenges have left them without a trophy and they will be determined in 2009 to set the record straight. Tournament Venue

After the successful events in 2007 and 2008 The Krakow Trophy will once again be played at the Hutnik Krakow stadium complex. Established in 1950, The zenith of Hutnik Krakow's achievements was the 1996 UEFA Cup where, after two successes in earlier rounds, they were knocked out by the comparitively mighty AS Monaco.
