Two successive draws and four dropped points had stalled Anglo Knights charge in their goal to retaining their title. With two games left now was the time for them to make their move and against Hebden Bridge Old Boys they could dent a major competitor's progress at the same time. It wasn't happening for them in the first half as Hebden Bridge Old Boys were consolidating after losing their unbeaten record last time out. The last two games had been 0-0 and we were yet to have a goal-less draw in the 2010 Barcelona Fives – would this be it? In a word, no. Juau Valero beat Phil Speak in the Hebden Bridge goal to put the Anglo Knights ahead and later on Anwar Celaya made the points safe and sealed a 2-0 win. The win would put Anglo Knights back on top of the Group B tree. Hebden Bridge had slipped to 4th but still only 2 points off top and were still very much in this.

Both of the teams above would be hoping Sesimbassa could restrict Breast Rummage Albion in the next tie. With four second half goals against Norton Hill Old Boys last time out, Sesimbassa would have to settle for one in the first half of this game. It was a goal that would give them a lead though. Carles Alonso scored the goal which was his third of the day thus far. In the second half he added his fourth and saw team mate Jordi Hernandez also score. Sesimbassa had scored 7 goals in two games without conceding and were making a strong bid to make the Cup. They were now 2nd making it a Spanish one-two at the top. Breast Rummage Albion slipped from 2nd to 5th! This group was going down to the wire though.

Time was running out for Norton Hill Old Boys to get their first win and their next opponents were It's Back. Confidence must have been low after their second half display against Sesimbassa but the Old Boys continued to fight valiantly although tinged with frustration. Pil Oh's goal for It's Back gave them a 1-0 lead at the break and maybe the younger legs told in the second half as they stretched that lead to 4-0 with goals from Jamie Cane (2) and George Bowman again. Both players now on 4 for the day and in with a shout of the top goalscorer trophy.
