So who would claim the first ever Wooden Spoon in eurofootballfives.com competition?

The two teams taking the field to challenge for the honour were The Ruud Boys and Moss Deb FC. Following disappointing results in the Group Phase they had both turned their form around in the semi-finals to produce a victory and get them to this final.

The Ruud Boys had overturned a one goal deficit in their semi-final versus Bristol Phippy and they took their second half form from the semi-final into this match by taking the lead in the final. The goal was scored by the Ruud Boys number 20 for his second goal in as many matches. They took this lead into half-time at 1-0.

The final would prove to be a role reversal for the semi-finals. In Moss Deb FC's semi-final they had taken the lead and were pegged back before going onto win with a golden goal in extra time. The Ruud Boys had gone behind and come back to win. In this final though the Ruud Boys had taken the lead but they were the ones who would see a 1-0 lead turn into a 2-1 deficit and in fact a 2-1 defeat.

Felino Foustino grabbed the equaliser for Moss Deb FC before Eddy Catanino grabbed what would prove to be the winner. The goals were each player's third of the tournament and earned them their success.
