Can you claim victory under the Spanish sun on the beautiful island of Mallorca?

Veterans teams are classified as those teams aged 35+. Each squad is permitted two players aged 30-34 within their squad.

The eurofootballfives Veterans Tournament is a moveable feast and after the veritable delights of Lisbon 2013, Mallorca 2014, the Algarve 2015 and Lisbon 2016 our Summer Vets tournament returned to Mallorca in June 2017. Simultaneously, 2017 saw us double our Veterans offering with the introduction of our first Late Summer Vets tournament in Lisbon in September.

Due to the popularity of the September Vets event and the enduring popularity of Mallorca it seemed a no-brainer to stage our second September Vets tournament on the stunning island of Mallorca. In September Mallorca is still bathed in sunshine and is still busy before the island starts to quieten down in October.

The weekend is perfect for you if you like playing your football in the sun with plenty of beach action on non-tournament days and plenty of nightlife on tap to party the rest of your tour away. Mallorca has it all in abundance and we can offer a tournament hotel yards from the beach and with a stunning pool of it's own.

In terms of nightlife, you are a short walk to the centres of Magaluf and to Palma Nova. Enjoy both centres over the course of your tour - with the sun, football and beer...just try and remember what a great time you had.

Mallorca Veterans, 5-a-side Football Tournament Tour Details

Squad Sizes:	6 - 10 players	Surface:	Artificial Grass
Teams:	Male only	Minimum age:	30 - see above
Competitions:	Cup and Plate	Ball used:	Futsal
Rules:	Standard FIFA 11-a-side rules but no-offsides, rolling subs and goalkeepers can not kick from the hand.

Format: 2 groups of 6 teams will play in the group stages. The top two teams progress to the Cup which will then be played on a knockout basis. The teams placed third and fourth will progress to the Plate which will also be played on a knockout basis.

Tournament Venue

The 2018 Mallorca Veterans Tournament will be played on specialist 5-a-side/Futsal football fields on new generation artificial grass. The centre is complete with bar (with Sky TV - local Sky) and restaurant for all your beverage and nutritional needs! The centre is next to the beach if you fancy dipping your toe in the sea or some totty watching in between games. Being next to the beach means you have a little breeze to keep you cool when the action on the pitch hots up!
