The Valencia Fives made its international debut in 2009 before more than doubling in size for 2010 and 2011. The 2012 tournament is set to be another cracker as the Valencia Fives has become one of the most highly regarded football tournaments in our season.

So, why go to Valencia? Well, you have the beaches and in October you can take in some later summer sun. There is a cracking nightlife which often dips under the radar as most people think Barcelona, Prague or Amsterdam before Valencia comes to mind. This is a shame as Valencia's nightlife is right up there with the Calle Juan Llorens, Barrio del Carmen and Malvarossa Beach areas amongst the best to spend the night partying. The fact that Valencia slips under the radar is also an advantage as you do not see as many stag weekends in town as you may do in somewhere like Dublin for example -a big plus when chatting to the locals.

Valencia is synonymous with sporting occasion and with events such as The Americas Cup, Vuelta Cycling Festival, Valencia Moto GP and the European Formula 1 Grand Prix it is easy to see why we have added the Valencia Fives to that list of occasions. Of course we have not yet mentioned one of the most famous names in European football - Valencia CF. It they are at home the weekend of our tournament we can arrange tickets to the Mestalla for you.

Format:

4 groups of 4 teams will play in the group stages. The top two teams progress to the Cup which will then be played on a knockout basis. The teams placed third and fourth will progress to the Plate which will also be played on a knockout basis.

Tournament Venue:

The 2009 Valencia Fives was the first international tournament to be held at this brand new specialist football centre. We've had rave reviews about the centre from both our 2009, 2010 and 2011 tournaments that it is no surprise we return for tournament number three in 2012. The facilities are first class with pristine changing rooms, comfortable bar, cafe and not to mention brand spanking new pitches. The pitches are new generation artifical grass lay on a bed of fibregel black pellets. One of our top-rated venues!
