Central Amsterdam (Dam Square, Rembrandt Square, Leidse Square) is only 10 minutes away by tram or 15-20 minutes in a taxi. The transfer from the airport is quite quick too at only 15 minutes by road. The hotel is situated near the Amsterdam Arena.

Our Opinion:

If you want to be in the very centre of Amsterdam without paying the earth then hostel accommodation is the way forward. However, if you want to be close to the action and get some extra comfort and luxury then the Mercure is a great option and we have negotiated an excellent price for you. At only 10 minutes into the centre of Amsterdam by tram there is no hardship (take a bottle on the way for the journey. Plus also - just think how much you may appreciate the sauna to soothe the football aches or sweat out last night's beer!
