Location:

The building is situated 500 metres from Margaret Bridge, in the centre of the city. This means that the guests of Hotel Császár can reach Margaret Island in ten minutes on foot. The hotel can be reached from downtown very conveniently day and night by means of public transportation. The hotel is in one building with the Komjádi-Császár swimming pools, thus the guests can use these swimming pools: the modern 50-metre outdoor pool, the 33-metre pool, the learners pool.

Rooms:

The 34 rooms of Hotel Császár, which are two and four bedded rooms with a shower, as well as its connecting family rooms, can be fitted with extra beds, which make it possible for the hotel to house 110 guests at the same time. The building was erected in the 1850's, and initially functioned as a nunnery. The atmosphere of the rooms is pleasant and modern, yet they are reminiscent of the origins of the building. Each room of Hotel Császár is installed with air-conditioning, a mini bar, satellite TV and a telephone. Guest's clothes and luggage can be comfortably packed into the spacious wardrobes, which are equipped with mirrors.

Our Opinion:

Basic hotel but with a location in the centre with great access to the Budapest nightlife. The use of the swimming pool is also a bonus. Ideal for those on a budget. No frills hotel.
