Location:

On the Buda side, The Carlton Hotel Budapest is situated at the foot of the famous Fishermen's Bastion and the romantic Castle quarter. It's also just a few steps away from the city's general business and shopping districts and the Chain Bridge. The bridge is Budapest's most stunning bridge and is located just around the corner from the hotel along with the Lanchid - the funicular that ascends Castle Hill for some great views back over the city.

Rooms:

Rooms vary in size and layout, however most are medium sized, and some are large and spacious. They are of a good standard and bright, with a sofa and plenty of table/desk space. Bathrooms are similarly bright, modern and functional.

Services:

Restaurant, bar, 24 hour porterage, car parking and rental facilities, business centre.

Our Opinion:

A popular and pleasant hotel. Rooms are a touch basic for what you may expect of a 4* property. However, location is definitely a trump card for the Carlton for the historical areas of Buda and a quick cross over the bridge into Pest for the modern metropolis featuring bars, restaurants and nightlife.
